It appears Bain CC is trying to follow Howard Stern's recipe for success by the "shock jock"
method. While on the way home from work yesterday, I was listening to the latest recycled
hee haw disc jockey that Bain put back on the air, one Jonnny D. He was blaming teachers
for his kid being an out of control, disruptive nuisance in the classroom. The school and doctors suggested putting him on drugs but John boy didn't want to , instead said it was the teachers fault for "not doing their job". He said teaches "have an agenda" and if its disruptive they don't like it. Supposedly his other kid had to be on drugs. Now the best part. For damage control Fred Boo Boo and his stooges this morning was making this big deal about a woman with an autistic child who "supposedly" emailed Boo Boo saying her kid listens to his show all the time. Yeah right. This station could of been on Ted Mack amautuer hour. Seems there is more than one Contemptible pieces of shit working at Bain CC these days. First Fred Boo Boo dumping on the people that made this town and now this. Anything for ratings.

You're going to say hi to my son Isaac. Will be listening between 8 and 815 in our van. Isaac is so excited he can hardly stand it. His sister says to remind you to say hi to her too. Her name is Emma and she's 9 years old and our youngest is Ronnie and he 7 years old and also autistic. Mom and dad are Russ and Sheri from Weston. Okay. I know that sometimes people make typos when posting--I can understand that. But I can't STAND IT when people don't have a grip on the English language!
Possibly Willard needed some drugs as a youngster in order to concentrate in writing class, but it's never too late to learn (well...).

Slamming teachers? A father who doesn't want his kid on drugs that teachers suggest is now slamming teachers? That's a stretch. Too many teachers unwilling to put in the time learning class management take the easy way out and suggest parents test and drug their kids. Too many parents unwilling to discipline or feed their kds properly take the easy way out and do just that. WSPD isn't endorsing slamming teachers, in fact Friday I'll be interviewing a couple of them for National School Choice Week which starts Monday. You really should know what you are talking abour before choosing to post drivel.

Now after the goof left we are to forget? No I think the Blade teaming up with WGTE is on to something that could somehow balance the corporate media control of this community. Across the country we are losing diversity in our media sources. Just look at Ohio and Michigan or just scan the AM dial and you will feel the limitation of, or should I say, the control of message being disseminated. Here in Toledo we have music and right wing radio and a sprinkling of sports, very little in neutral or progressive sources. I listen to both and find it reprehensible that Americans aren't allowed to have the choice.

Wrong. Read Fred's quote again. It's the teachers who offered the self criticism of their industry. Much like how you complain about when you worked for the Germans.
I can back Fred's statement up. My wife was a teacher but quickly became disgruntled at the way it was run. A shame too, my wife was/is a consummate overachiever. She holds three bachelor's degress and has been VERY successful in the private sector.
