No recount in Iowa

Tagged:

I had wondered about that & so, googled the topic.

What I did not know, and assume lots of ordinary voters/citizens don't know is:

The Iowa caucuses do not award delegates. It is a "preference poll". So Romney "winning" with only 7 or 8 votes - if indeed he did - does not get him any delegates. The awarding of the delegates will be decided later on. And the "deciders" are not going to be bound by the few extra votes Romney supposedly won.

Why am I personally so suspicious - lots of reasons too long to go into here. But this was just waaaay too convenient for the Republican moderate to liberal establishment. The count was held in secret - also a surprise to me. They used the excuse that the "occupy" movement would disrupt a public count.

The odds that the vote would be that close, in my estimation, are a zillion to one. Just too convenient. And just too unbelievable.

But anyhoo - Rick Perry has made a disastrous decision to stay in, with no hope of the nomination, so all he will do in NH is drain off conservative votes from Santorum. Newt is loaded for bear and will spend the next 2 primaries trying to do as much damage to Romney as possible, which I think is a waste of time - but you never know. Maybe he will be successful in exposing Romney for the liberal he is.

No votes yet

When a Republican loses an election, they accept it, and take it on the chin as a loss. When a dime-crat loses, they always demand a recount, as they consider it an impossibility that they lost, unless someone cheated.

What? Republicans scream voter fraud and whine about ACORN. Then they pass a bunch of bs voter id laws when they don't even require an id for voting in a caucus.

Bush v. Gore ring a bell, genius?

Who's the "genius"?

The fact is that your boy Gore was the crybaby.

http://uselectionatlas.org/INFORMATION/ARTICLES/pe2000timeline.php

November 8, 2000 - 2:30 am- Gore calls Bush to concede the election.

November 9, 2000 - Gore's team requests a hand count of presidential ballots in four Florida counties

So it looks like you are an f-in idiot liar moron. No wonder you're a Democrat.

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.

Governor George Bush and his running mate, Richard Cheney, filed a request for review in the U.S. Supreme Court and sought an emergency petition for a stay of the Florida Supreme Court's decision. The U.S. Supreme Court granted review and issued the stay on December 9. It heard oral argument two days later.
I'm a moron? You don't even know what a socialist is yet use the term in your sign off. That's a great summary of your life "don't blame me." It'll look good on your tombstone.

Re-read what you posted. Then try and use your brain, libtard.

You copied and pasted:
"Governor George Bush and his running mate, Richard Cheney, filed a request for review in the U.S. Supreme Court and sought an emergency petition for a stay of the Florida Supreme Court's decision"

So the first thing filed in court WAS NOT to the U.S. Supreme Court, it was to the Florida Supreme Court. Got it? That is what you copied and pasted above. "Governor George Bush and his running mate, Richard Cheney, filed a request for review in the U.S. Supreme Court and sought an emergency petition for a stay of the Florida Supreme Court's decision"

Now ask yourself this. Who filed the FIRST lawsuit with the Florida Supreme Court that Bush & Cheney went to the US Supreme Court with?

The FIRST LAWSUIT FILED was about the "butterfly ballots" and the old retarded Democraps like you who supposedly were trying to vote for ALGORE but thought they ended up voting for Pat Buchannan.

ANDRE FLADELL, and ALBERTA McCARTHY, LILLIAN GAINES, and all other similarly situated electors in Palm Beach County, Florida,
Appellants,
v.
HONORABLE JORGE LABARGA, PALM BEACH COUNTY CANVASSING BOARD, as constituted
by County Court Judge Charles Burton; Supervisor of Elections Theresa
LePore; and County Commissioner Carol Roberts; GEORGE W. BUSH, DICK CHENEY,
AL GORE and JOE LIEBERMAN,
Appellees

So it looks like I proved you wrong again, moron. The first lawsuit filed was BY DIMOCRAPS. And you provided the proof.

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.
