Any wonder why California is broke?

Pathetic and disgusting. California represents around 12% of the U.S. population, yet almost 33% of the welfare recipients.

If CA wasn't sending so much money to Mississippi, Alaska, North Dakota, Alabama, Arkansas and Montana they might be able to fix their issues.

I am seeing first hand the problems of CA and it's not money sent elsewhere.

I wish they had used a white woman instead because both Paul and Tywlya will focus on this womans' color instead of the problem.

Any statement I make is the opinion of me exercising my first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and is generally permitted.

Isnt the same thing going on here? If i had a nickel for every "poor" persons home Id been to on business, who had a large flat screen TV I could buy a new car!

No it's actually worse in CA.

I've seen some major abuses of the system here and I'm not even in a populated part of the state.

Your sympathy goes to the state only so much though. The state recognizes the problem, continues to exacerbate it, and makes the municipalities pay for it. I have seen more corruption in small cities in CA than even Toledo. It's sad because it's almost a culture here and everyone would rather angle for their piece of the pie than try to fix it.

I believe this woman could be elected to Toledo City Council! She knows all of the right things to say.

Heck as stupid as Toledo voters are, she'd be a shoe-in.
