Occupy Toledo Day 7 - A Request

Tagged:

While I was down there this morning at 11a, which is supposed to be assembly time, there were only 5 guys standing around. One of the young guys, who is in yesterdays' video, asked me to please show photo evidence of them stealing electricity. Not one to disappoint, here it is.

Now I'm not sure what this is but a listener sent it along with other photos from Levis Square which I'll post later.

The second pic looks like landscape damage...or to put it in libtard terms...raping the environment...

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

What about the runoff that's already begun? When this sort of liberal "residue" enters our water supply via the storm drains, isn't a LAW being broken? Not sure who has jurisdiction when biohazards enter the water supply, but I think the Coast Guard has. It might be something to check out, since it seems the socialists, NOT the Republicans, want to ruin our water supply.

Swampbubbles seems to have become less than useful as a website. You're one of the few on here who is still trying to talk about relevant topics and not using it as a tool for rantings and such. You should just start your own blog or website...

You are perhaps correct about Swampbubbles, but I respectfully disagree that focus on a few people mulling around Levis Square is a relevant topic.

The people gathered there would disagree Benny. In speaking with them today they believe they are serving a purpose in bringing the situation with the Federal Govt to light. They are upset about corporate influence, the two wars etc etc and believe that in being in Levis Square they are influencing people and starting a dialogue.
Now why the dialogue couldn't happen in someone's house I don't know, but they have chosen a public park. It was explained to me again today that they are not stealing electricity from the light poles because 1-they are taxpayers, and 2- that's what it's there for.
We agree on some things like the Federal Reserve, the two party system, Iraq and Afghanistan, smaller government. We disagree on student loans, corporate pay, banks. We also disagree about them occupying a public park that at this point can's be used by anyone else because they are there. I was told it is "our living space" by one young woman. They are disenchanted, distrustful, feeling disenfranchised, and generally full of disdain for anything corporate, well except I phones, I pads and pc's. I was told that isn't hypocritical though since there is no way to have the movement without those tools.

Any statement I make is the opinion of me exercising my first amendment right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech in the United States is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution and is generally permitted.

It''ll be over soon. Wind, driving rain and cool temps will take the starch out of them.
