On Thursday, June 16 at 8:00 p.m., WGTE TV will host an important Town Hall event to discuss the developing field of alternative energy and its importance and viability as a mainstream energy source. Experts on wind, biomass and solar energy will join students and private industry officials to discuss the benefits and challenges of alternative energy sources.
The panel for this event will include: Robert Kozar, director of research and development, University of Toledo; Daryl Stockburger of Northcoast Wind and Power; Dr. Randall Ellingson associate professor, physics, University of Toledo; Clifford Fleener, environmental manager at Pilkington Glass; Dr. Constance A. Schall, associate professor, chemical and environmental engineering, University of Toledo; Bob Blythe, president, CH4 Biogas; and three students from PENTA Career Center's Green Energy Management Program - Nick Irving, Jon Stone and Ryan Murtha. Darren LaShelle will moderate.
