Dems can pass Gays in Military but cannot block Obama Tax Cuts For The Rich?

Now we know where the Congressional Democrats priorities are. Tax cuts for the rich? Not so much. But openly gay soldiers? "WE DEMOCRATS WILL FIGHT FOR THAT".

Apparently, the Democrat controlled Congress can muster enough votes to end the ban on openly gay soldiers....
"The Senate voted 65-31 to pass the bill, with eight Republicans siding with 55 Democrats and two independents in favor of repeal."

This explains why Wolfboy, SenserG, DonWart and the other homo trolls love Democrats in Congress, but what do the rest of you straight people think of your gang in Congress standing up for Gay Rights over standing up for making "the rich pay their fair share"?

No votes yet

Now you can openly serve in the military, BlowJob. You're welcome...

I'm just glad this was done the right way... through Congress and not the wrong way through the judicial system. This has been a touchy subject for some time but the federal judge who made that ruling last month was way out of line. This is and was the proper forum. Because the lawsuit didn't direct what conduct the military can and cannot regulate. We even began to have discussions that if it were done that way could overweight military members who had been kicked out come back and sue to get their way back in.

Passing through Congress is the right way. Even though DADT itself was an executive order and could have just as easily been modified.

Well I guess drill instructors won't be talking like this anymore :P

Not Work Safe- bad language.

"homo trolls"? . Classy. Guess we know your views on gay rights.

Yeah, how dare they try and pass legislation to help prevent clear governmental discrimination. That's so inappropriate.
