sMarmy Kaptur shakes hands with Castro during Cuba paid trip.

"During her meeting with Castro - accompanied by Democratic House member Charles Rangel of New York - they discussed trade, the U.S. embargo, and other issues in a long history of strained relations."

Charlie Rangel later admitted that Cuba helped pay for the illegal pilgrimage.

Isn't it still illegal to travel to Cuba unless you're a Cuban-American? Of course, this may be just another law our government has passed that doesn't apply to THEM.

She never met a Communist she doesn't like, apparently.

Shit, we could play this game all day -

Sensor, u should come to my Con law class with me. The President and Congress have different roles. Posting pics of presidents with whoever is way different than congresspersons with Castro. Surely u know the roles differ between Congress and the President.

I looked and looked, but nowhere in your lame pics did I see Charlie Rangle or any other Congress people who took money from the Cuban Government illegally to make a trip to Cuba to kiss Castros ars.

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.

which one of those pictures are meetings done against American law? I don't think any of them. Nice try SensorG. So you have an elected official again violating the law, just like she tells those foreclosed on to violate the law.

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.

What about all the pics of Our Ruler, kissing every communist ring in existence? And the pics of Him curtsey-ing in front of the Mullahs and Imams? I'm sure, if the truth were known, He kisses other "rings".

Since the tread is a joke...

How about this -

I'll bet she was thanking El Comandante' for all the criminals and insane asylum lunatics he sent the US with the Mariel Boat Lift. But as wiki said, it wasn't "all that bad": "The majority of refugees were ordinary Cubans. Many were professionals; physicians, attorneys and skilled tradesmen who took advantage of the opportunity to leave Cuba unnoticed. In the end, only 2% (or 2,746) of the refugees were classified as serious or violent criminals under U.S. law"

ONLY 2,746 violent, insane criminals? Of course, the US should be able to absorb that amount. Maybe she should campaign on that issue.

Found the answer.

Whatever else you think about him, Fidel Castro will go down in history as the greatest man in Latin American history. A man who led an armed insurrection in 1959 against a corrupt U.S.-installed government and then gave the finger to the military powerhouse only 90 miles away. Shook the shit out of Washington. Others haven't embraced communism, and the the U.S.A. kept trying to install puppet governments, but for the most part the people of Central America and South America began to realize that they are their own people, and these are their own nations, and that they no longer had to be client states of the nuclear-armed "Americans."

Patience is a great virtue.

that sounds alot like an embrace of the historical impacts of Fidel Castro and his regime. But that really can't be it because people aren't allowed to just recognize history and it's impacts on the world. And now that you've brought your position to light, I feel that we must ask you a few questions.

  1. Do you support complete censorship of all media outlets?
    - In 2008 Cuba was second biggest prison in the world for journalists and was rated by the Committee to Protect Journalists as one of the ten most censored countries in the world.
  2. Do you support the violent oppression of Cubans under the Castro regime?
    - A compilation of various sources indicates that between 5000 and 12,000 people have been executed for various couterrevolutionary and political reasons
    - In the 1960's, homosexuals and other targeted groups were forced into labor camps and subject to political "re-education" as part of Castro's "revolutionary social hygiene".
    1. So I guess we either take your statements and opinions regarding Central and Latin American history as just that, statements and opinions regarding history. Or we summarily brand you as Communist Sympathizer (pictures or no pictures) with no respect for human rights and freedom of speech.

Look what a wonderful the bastard has done for Cuba. Marcy and the gang of assholes she hangs out with would like to do the same for America. If the Obama misfits could just get a hold on all of our money, they could see that it's spent in the proper places. They actually believe the average working American is to ignorant to spend money wisely.

AmericanPie

Two people who are in favor of the government taking over private businesses like GM and ANY business in Cuba.

MikeyA

That's quite an interesting looking handshake between Fidel and Marcy.
One of true solidarity.

Cuba is a totalitarian police state which relies on repressive methods to maintain control. These methods include intense physical and electronic surveillance of both Cuban citizens and foreign visitors. Americans visiting Cuba should be aware that any on-island activities could be subject to surveillance, and their contacts with Cuban citizens monitored closely. The United States does not have full diplomatic relations with Cuba, but Cuba welcomes American travelers and Americans are generally well received.

Government
Type: Totalitarian communist state; current government assumed power by force on January 1, 1959.
Independence: May 20, 1902.
Political party: Cuban Communist Party (PCC); only one party allowed.

Sounds like a real fun vacation spot!!

Take up a collection for donwart. He'll never have to come back to the US.

No different than Republicans for Free Trade with Totalitarian China. You find a problem with Castro because you can't profit from him but import slave labor built junk from Communist China and that's alright!

Why don't you trade in your horse and buggy and get a Model T. It's close to 20 years since NAFTA old timer. Time moves forward not back. Clinton signed it into Law. Back to your rocking chair

Or maybe you actually meant to say the TRUTH which is, YOUR BOY BUBBA CLINTON screwed you Union hack morons and you bent over and took it.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- China should be allowed to join the World Trade Organization because "this agreement is a good deal for America," President Bill Clinton said in a statement Monday.

Naming a White House lobbying team to spearhead the effort, the president also called on Congress to schedule a vote on China's entry to the world trade body at "the earliest possible time." The United States and China reached agreement last November on terms for China to enter the WTO.

But I'm sure you will make some stupid fukin statement like "Republicans controlled Congress" bla bla bla when the bottom line is, YOUR BOY CLINTON SIGNED NAFTA AND THE CHINA FAVORED NATION STATUS.

Get over it. You Dems, like the Unions that represent you, are being shafted by your own owners. And you must like it because you keep bending over and asking "thank you sir, may I have another?"

Don't blame me,

As I have said repeatedly I didn't vote for Bill Clinton. I thought he was the worst Democratic president of our time. During his tenure sure the economy was humming but what he put in place as far as trade has bankrupted the country. I voted for Ross Perot by default.

Proof!
Who listens to Bill after NAFTA?
