I Sit Next To The Gavel-Marcy Kaptur, September 27, 2010

According to Ms. Kaptur "I sit next to the gavel". I'm not sure what that means but apparently not much when it comes to succeeding the guy who holds the gavel already.

In your best marcy voice you need to record a spot where marcy says, "I can see the gavel from my chair."

I wonder if she's ever sneaked into the office, and pounded the gavel, calling an imaginary meeting to order?

LOL

LOL this reminds me of a time I had to fill in as an XO.

My boss said to me "Congratulations you're one bullet away from command, problem is the next bullet."

It s like getting to sit next to the bosses desk, or the principal's chair , or the front row in church --- It s irrelevant

I wonder what she'd be saying if her seat was the closest to the restroom?

MikeyA

Period.

The only way sitting next to the guy in charge would matter to anyone but Marcie would be if she was giving him hand jobs under the table.
