Last month, the Ohio Republican's Political action Committee, Freedom Project, revealed it spent $10,657.46 on greens fees and food and beverages at the swanky Ritz Carlton of Naples, Fla., in April. And now, his PAC's newly filed campaign report with the Federal Election Commission for May shows Boehner's PAC spent twice that much -- $20,816.65 -- on golf at the Ritz. Which means Boehner spent a total of $31,474.11 on a golf Fundraiser for friends, Lobbyists and anyone else who wanted... (MORE) http://politifi.com/news/Boehner-Drops-Big-Bucks-on-Golf-1000732.html

Just curious if you were as "outraged" when Lucas County Democrats hired strippers for their golf outing.

Were you pissed when Barry Obama spent "between $35,000 and $50,000" taxpayer dollars to vacation on Marthas Vinyard?

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.

Right on LCBM! After the 'Hookers at Spuyten Duyval", local Dems might not wanna bring up 'golf' when talking about local republicans...

Oh, and Paul?? dont you live in Michigan? what do you care what Ohio Republicans do?

Wolfman responds to Billy's question, " what do you care what Ohio Republicans do?" Wolfman asks Billy, WSPD Brian Wilson lives 500 mile away in Virginia and fraudulently acts like a local immersing himself into Toledo politics by reading the Toledo Blade online. Why does he care about Ohio politics? Doesn't Virginia need a blowhard talk show host?

Which is a sure red flag douche bag indicator.
So basically the situation here is a Pal Wolfart(h) from Michigan listens to Brian Wilson from Virginia talk about Ohio politics.

Both are self important blow hards who no discerning person gives any credence to anyway. Difference is, one of them is laughing all the way to the bank, and the other one is just an idiot.

Paul, if you immerse yourself in liberal politics by doing nothing more than copy/pasting your liberal BS and crap you hear on a self described 'fake news' program, how are you different than Brian? Seriously?

Oh, and as long as you're posting things from a show that admits to making up the news, you might try "the Onion" - it's the same thing, but in print. Might be easier for you to copy/paste.

Best post of the week billy. I am still smiling about it.

From the Merek website:

"Dissociative identity disorder, formerly called multiple personality disorder, is characterized by ≥ 2 identities (called alters or self-states) that alternate. "
"They may refer to themselves in the first person plural (we) or in the third person (he, she, they), sometimes without knowing why.
"The switching of identities and the amnestic barriers between them frequently result in chaotic lives. Because the identities often interact with each other, patients typically report hearing inner conversations between other personalities, which comment on or address them. Thus, patients may be misdiagnosed with a psychotic disorder. Although these voices are experienced as hallucinations, they have a distinctly different quality from the typical hallucinations of psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia."

Don't worry, it's can usually be controlled with medication and intense psychotherapy. Unless one of these personalities becomes violent or starts stalking.
So, according to this diagnosis, there really ARE voices in Wolfies head.

Don't blame me,
I didn't vote for a
socialist.

Hell, after 35years of the UAW not allowing him to think for himself it'd be amazing if there WERENT any voices in his head telling him how to think and act and vote...

Spanish police close public beach for Michelle Obama's £250,000 Spanish holiday

"Michelle Obama today faced a fresh wave of attacks over her lavish break in Spain with 40 friends, which could easily cost U.S. taxpayers a staggering £50,000 a day.

The First Lady has been lambasted for her extravagance at a time when the economy is still struggling. One blogger went so far as to brand her a modern-day Marie Antoinette.

And her critics will be further annoyed when they learn that the president's wife had a Spanish beach closed off today so that she, her daughter and their entourage could go for a swim.

Spanish police cleared off a stretch of beach at the Villa Padierna Hotel in Marbella after the Obamas had finished a busy day of sightseeing."

Boehner hands out 'tobacco checks' on floor of House
http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=John_Boehner
In late June of 1995 then-GOP Conference Chairman John Boehner handed out "about a half-dozen" checks from the political action committee of tobacco company Brown & Williamson Corp. to fellow Republicans on the floor of the House.

Boehner's chief of staff Barry Jackson stated, "We were trying to help guys who needed to get their June 30th numbers up, their cash-on-hand numbers up. All leadership does this. We have to raise money for people and help them raise money."

Boehner was forced to stop handed out the checks when two freshmen Republicans, "appalled by it," confronted him and voiced their displeasure. Boehner's reaction was one of tempered apology, "I thought, 'Yeah, I can imagine why somebody would be upset. It sure doesn't look good.' It's not an excuse, but the floor is the only place you get to see your colleagues. It was a matter of convenience. You make a mistake, admit it and go on. I just feel bad about it." What's the time frame for this business with Marcy? and this Boehner deal went down 15years ago? What was Boehner's reaction? Did he comment on it? Gee - I do believe he did! Were any indictments handed out?? Or are they still investigating? What's Marcy's reaction to all this? What's she saying??

Back under your little rock in Ottawa Lake Paul. Neither John OR Marcy represent you, so basically, your opinion is nothing.

Kaptur has already been cleared of any wrongdoing. This is what the House Ethics committee said:

67. Representative Kaptur and her staff explained to the OCE in detail why she requested
earmarks for PMA clients for fiscal years 2008 to 2010.

68. Representative Kaptur’s support for the earmarks complied with her general policy of
requesting earmarks that are consistent with her legislative priorities and constituent
concerns.

69. Based on the information that the OCE collected during this review, the operation of
Representative Kaptur’s campaign is separate from her earmark evaluation process and
the campaign does not influence her decisions on earmarks.

70. As a result, there is not substantial reason to believe that Representative Kaptur solicited or accepted campaign contributions for the earmark requests on behalf of PMA clients.

71. For these reasons, the Board recommends that the Standards Committee dismiss the above described allegations concerning Representative Kaptur.

a bit off topic, but curious.

Was Kevin Milliken actually at El Camino Real when Anita Lopez was there the other night?

http://lakecurrents.com/20100805/lucas-county-auditor-have-republican-wr...

I see it says on his bio Kevin Milliken is an 'award-winning journalist' and he's evidently close enough to Anita Lopez to actually see her sweat, but I don't see any quotes or statements from Lopez from questions surely an 'award-winning journalist' would ask in such a situation.

I mean, big 'breaking-news' and all with Kaczala's widow entering the race, the incumbant and the 'ace' reporter right there together at the same establishment...so, ah, where are the Lopez quotes??

Somebody on here should know the answer to this question.

It was written with a definite 'reporter was there at the scene' flair. He saw the sweat on her skin and all, evidently. And it was written with such...balance and professionalism.

Chris Myers, isn't this your enterprise (Lake Currents) or am I mistaken?

I'd simply like to know if the reporter who wrote this story was actually at the same restuarant at the same time as Anita Lopez was last week and wrote the article based on what he personally saw and witnessed.

Pretty straight-forward question.
