Mike Bell today announced the members of his full transition team who will be charged with offering suggestions and strategies for implementing the Mayor-Elect’s platform.
The Team is made up of representative from all parts of the community including business, labor, neighborhood organizations, education, clergy, social services and our regional neighbors. Members include:

The Mayor-Elect plans to hold his first meeting with the transition team early next week.
The main responsibilities of the group will be to offer strategies and suggestions for the
implementation of Mayor-Elect Bell’s Platform as outlined in the Future of Toledo Strategic Plan, developed during his campaign through community input sessions; and to provide guidance on the means for Mayor-Elect bell to achieve the goals stated for his first 90-days in office.
Mr. Bell was elected Mayor with 52.3 percent of the vote total. He ran as an Independent in his first bid for elective office. Toledo’s former fire chief and former State Fire Marshal, he received his education in the Toledo Public Schools and the University of Toledo.
