Wonder if liberal groups are gonna go out there and protest...

I note they arent listed amongst the sponsors...

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Since when do Republicans support the troops? Is this a change in their previous position?

Pink Slip

Couldnt find any lib groups supporting the rally I take it....

I know you wish we all had amnesia and stuff....

but we also have Al gores interwebs...

Here's how the left supported the troops for the last 8 years...

Spitting on war veterans.

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

"You go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time," he (Rumsfeld) said.

'Rumsfeld seemed taken aback by the question and a murmur began spreading through the ranks before he silenced it. "Now, settle down, settle down," he said. "Hell, I'm an old man, it's early in the morning, and I'm gathering my thoughts here."'

There's your 'support.'

Yawn...that's it?...that the best you got?

No youtube videos of conservative protesting against the troops?

No Vids of conservatives protesting and vandlising recruiting centers?

Cuz I got tons of videos of liberals doing that very thing...

I think the most memorable banner was "we support our troops when they shoot their officers"....ah..such support for the troops...

Hell...I even got a ton of quotes from the likes of murtha (our troops murdered civilians in cold blood) Durbin (our troops are acting like nazis)Kerry(our troops are terrorising iraqi women and children)Obama( air raiding villages and killing innocent civilians) the list goes on and on...from Congressional dems trying to cut troops funding to trying to demand withdraw from Iraq, to fighting against the surge...

And what do you got?

a goofy rummy quote?

sheesh....stay on the porch...

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

now you're buttressing your ''points' with youtube, and calling that something I should take with any seriousness.

Any snappy vids on there with you playing with your monkey, perhaps mooning the camera with underwear on your head, maybe some drunkin' kareoke on a night out with the boyz?

Gee, let me try....look! Here's Rummy rolling a joint. It's on youtube; it must be real, lol.

So now you are claiming videos of liberal protestors are faked?

Well isnt that special...I suppose the quotes are fake too....

The only thing fake is the assertion that liberals support American troops....unless they fighting orders or fragging their officers...

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

What a lame arguement.

You're still talking about the armor arguement as not supporting the troops.

The fact of the matter is the Bush Administration did move quite quickly to armor the vehicles and personnel in Iraq. However that does take time.

For instance, HMMWV's not being armored. We rushed to add uparmor. The problem was it was adding 1500 lbs. Add 1500 pounds to your car and drive on it every day and tell me how long your suspension lasts.

We rushed to add the armor then we had to rush to change the suspension. The fact is we cut the military budget in 1998 and that set the military back years when it came to development. It's the reason the Marines didn't get the Osprey until 2005 and why we still don't have the EFV.

MikeyA

Yeah, much worse than sending them off to die a useless death by invading the wrong country based on lies. That's how the GOP supports troops.

Pink Slip

Yep...just what was said for the last 8 years...

" sending them off to die a useless death by invading the wrong country based on lies. "

We support the troops...but not the mission...

Blah blah blah...same old crap...

Screw them dirty arabs....right?

Seems like the only Muslims Liberals care for are the ones shooting the place up...or offended that people might connect muslims with shooting the place up...

The rest of them muslims who might like america or want freedom?...screw em...

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Here's a list of so-called "lies"....

----------------------------------------------------

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
- President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"We must stop Saddam from ever again jeopardizing the stability and security of his neighbors with weapons of mass destruction."
- Madeline Albright, Feb 1, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
- Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton.
- (D) Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

"We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and th! e means of delivering them."
- Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI), Sept. 19, 2002

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should assume that it will continue for as long as Saddam is in power."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"The last UN weapons inspectors left Iraq in October of 1998. We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons..."
- Sen. Robert Byrd (D, WV), Oct. 3, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years ... We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D, WV), Oct 10, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

"We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Bob Graham (D, FL), Dec. 8, 2002

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime ... He presents a particularly grievous threat because he is so consistently prone to miscalculation ... And now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued deceit and his consistent grasp for weapons of mass destruction ... So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Jan. 23. 2003

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

You think a couple of quotes from Democrats means that the GOP DIDN'T send our troops to die based on lies? You're more delusional than I thought. And I think you're really delusional, so that's saying a lot.

Pink Slip

Just a couple democrats??/

This was the previous adminstration and the former PRESIDENT....one of those persons is now sec of state others advisors to president Obama......

If the GOP was lying...then so where they...

82 democrat congressmen voted to authorize the use of force against Iraq....as did 29 democrat senators...

If the "war is illegal"...then democrats are complicit...

Cant have it both ways....

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Yes, there were many Democrats that bought the GOP's lies and are complicit with war crimes. But I've said that before.

But that doesn't taken away the fact that the GOP doesn't give a crap about the troops. They're perfectly willing to send the troops off to die for no good reason.

Pink Slip

Ah the "yes,but"...lib play number 9...

Sorry pinky......This:

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

Trumps all your "GOP lies" BS....

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

And then Bill Clinton started the Iraq War, right?

Pink Slip

Not only that, but when The One sends troops to Afganistan the libs will whine: Well! The Republicans do it too!", followed by the rest of their infantile and asinine reasoning.

Notice it hasnt dawned on them that THEY and their retoric are a partial cause of Hasan going jihad...

He didnt want to go fight an "illegal war" "based on lies" and "kill muslims"...

Liberal talking points every one...

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”
