I am going to miss him. There is never a dull moment. Just when you think you seen it all he surpasses himself. He needs a good rocking chair and some grandchildren on his lap to tell all the wonderful things he has done to Toledo.

I hope Carty moves to Sylvania and runs for mayor there.
If he weren't so inept, narcissistic, ignorant and lazy, the economy in Toledo would be creating jobs and people of NW Ohio wouldn't be so desperate to take waitress, hostess, sweeping, BlackJack dealer and bus driver jobs this Casino promises to create. So the desperate voters of NW Ohio wouldn't have to hope for these service jobs to be created.
If ''CON' is the opposite of 'PRO', does that mean Congress is the opposite of Progress?
Well, let this be a lesson to you all ... with these pathetic service jobs being the only hope for your sons and daughters finding work in this area, then you can't expect to sell your $100K home from 2000 for anything more than $20K by the year 2030.
I don't mind working for a wage reduced by competition with the Third World. But I must DEMAND that my expenses drop to the same Third World level. That means cheap housing and even cheaper government.
Or else. And you'd better know what "else" is. It rhymes with "rifle".
