Did someone supposedly important resign from Lucas GOP?

This was sent by email. I am removing who it is and I have no way to verify if this is true or not, which is why I will chalk it up to maybe true / maybe not. An interesting read and if it is who it purports to be, not a good sign for a Jon. Still, I can't assure this is true or not.

Dear Chairman Stainbrook,

Please let this letter serve as notice of my immediate resignation as Parliamentarian of the Lucas County Republican Party (LCRP), and my withdrawal from your personal staff.

It has become clear to me, from your actions and attitudes toward me, and select endorsed Republican candidates, that my advice and counsel are no longer of any value to you.

I would hope that we can part without the usual rancor, acrimony, and politics of personal destruction, but I hold no illusions that I will be spared the standard treatment of those who slip from your favor.

I want to make it clear that I will maintain my elected positions on the LCRP Central Committee, and Executive Committee; and I understand my resignation does not preclude my complete cooperation with authorities in all pertinent ongoing and upcoming legal investigations.

Jon, I wish you well in your endeavors as Chairman, I just have come to realize I can no longer be party to those endeavors.
