Murphy’s Place, the legendary Toledo jazz club, is pleased to announce the addition of J. Russell’s Lounge to its establishment. Their previously unused second bar, in the back room facing Water St., has been renovated to host the lounge named after Murphy’s tireless and loyal co-owner, Joan Russell.
J. Russell’s Lounge offers its guests a comfortable place to relax, surf the internet or catch up on late afternoon work while enjoying coffee and espresso drinks or a happy hour special. The soundtrack at the lounge will come from the hundreds of jazz vinyl records that are for sale. The one-of-a-kind ambiance is something that can only be experienced, so come and check out J. Russell’s Lounge for the Grand Opening on Wednesday, July
22 from 7-9pm. Live music begins at Murphy's M-Th at 8 and Friday and Saturday at 9.
Toledo needs a lot more of this kind of stuff. I'll definitely be checking it out.
