Local Businessman to Step Up for Toledo Leadership Role
Jon Stainbrook, Chairman of the Lucas County Republican Party will announce
Mark Clark as a Republican seeking a seat on City Council, Thursday morning.
"Mark has been working diligently by going door-to-door to meet the voters
of Toledo," said Stainbrook. "He demonstrates the quiet, stable leadership
that Toledo needs.."
Mark Clark said, "I want to make City Council 'mission driven' for the
success of Toledo."
Born in Toledo, Mark Clark is a local business man and entrepreneur. Mark
currently works for Devonshire Fund Group, a private equity fund and
commercial real estate development company. Some of his experiences include
putting together a portfolio of eleven car washes, where he was responsible
for building new facilities, purchasing and remodeling existing facilities,
and day to day operations. Mark was property manager of five commercial
buildings; his duties included negotiating lease contracts, remodeling, and
marketing. Mark also worked as Regional Sales Manager for a beverage cart
manufacturer. Mark has owned and operated a restaurant in Perrysburg, and an
automotive collision repair center in Toledo. Mark graduated from Whitmer
High School and Vocational Center where he studied auto mechanics. He won
first place in the state of Ohio and fourth in a national competition in the
automotive field. Marks family includes wife Gale, daughters Michelle,
Emily, and son Andrew.
