The Lucas County Republican Clubs Charitable Dinner

On Friday, June 12th a coalition of Lucas County Republican Clubs will be hosting its first charitable dinner at Holland Gardens, 6530 Angola Road, Holland, Ohio 43528.

The Lucas County Republican Clubs Charitable Dinner will welcome special guests Jon Husted (invited) and Dave Yost. The dinner, whose proceeds will benefit the Toledo Seagate Food Bank will begin with a Directors’ Reception at 5:31 P.M., followed by a social hour, and dinner at 7:00 P.M.

Admission to the event is $30 per person, and $50 per couple.
The Directors’ Reception featuring Jon Husted is an additional $15.

Husted, a current State Senator, former Speaker of the House, and Republican candidate for Secretary of State will serve as the keynote speaker. Other special guests include current Delaware County Prosecutor and Republican candidate for State Attorney General, Dave Yost.

In these times of economic hardship, local Republican clubs wanted to gather for like minded conversation and fellowship as they gear up for important municipal and mid-term elections, but also wanted to serve a greater purpose. Christine Seles, President of the Fallen Timbers Republican Club, one of the co-sponsors of the event. said “We have always believed that true charity and compassion is something that comes from your
own heart and wallet, not your neighbors.

We encourage all Lucas County Republicans and their clubs to come out and enjoy an evening with the future leaders of our state, and to support a great cause.”

The event is being co-sponsored by the Lucas County African-American Republican Club, Toledo Young Republicans, Fallen Timbers Republican Club, Sylvania Area Republicans, Greater Toledo Republican Women’s Club, Oregon Republican Club, and the Greater Toledo Republican Club. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate as well.

For further information on the event, or to RSVP, please contact Christine Seles at republicanclubs at gmail.com

Chris' note: The reason this was renamed, was Jon Stainbrook threatened to sue over the event. Can you believe it? Jon threatening to sue? I thought they were pulling my leg when I heard that.
