With less police and MUCH longer wait times, why bother to report a crime at all?
You Toledoans know that, after a couple of hours waiting for a cop to show up, all he is going to tell you is ""tough $hit"

Out of curiousity, I checked the papers and news media about the crime rate here in Toledo, and it most certainly is up.
For example :
On May 1st, two men shot, one dead in South Toledo, said to be drug related.
May 3rd, Man shot and killed in front of home. South Toledo
May 6 Police answer call in North Toledo. 88 year old women beaten to death, husband in critical condition (now listed as critical) B&E to residence
May 8 Two shootings one in East Toledo, the other South Toledo
May 9 Shooting in North Toledo, thought to be gang related.
This does not include all the arsons that have happened, or other crimes that were not published in the media.
May 6 Police answer call in North Toledo. 88 year old women beaten to death, husband in critical condition (now listed as critical) B&E to residence
these were the elderly PARENTS of a toledo police officer by the way...
Carty's figures are flat lies.
Crime is down 19% at the Marina District project at the old Edison plant.
