What did I miss?

I've read this story several times and each time I read it I get a different angle.

what did I miss?

According to police, Mr. Mobley and the teenager were in a large crowd that had gathered outside the Pinewood Avenue house where several fights broke out. Officers said the fights that erupted outside the house after the party are believed to be gang-related.

Police said that no arrests have been made in the shooting which occurred near Forest Avenue.

After the shooting, police were called to the hospital to handle a large crowd that had gotten out of control, resulting in the arrest of several people on misdemeanor offenses.

She said incoming emergency room patients were diverted to other hospitals for about 50 minutes because of an unusually high number of trauma cases under care in the emergency room.

What's the source? I havent heard of this story. Is it Toledo?

is tagged in the first sentence of my post

"Barb Martin, president of nursing at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, said police were called to the hospital after 70 to 75 people showed up in the emergency room out of concern for the shooting victims." I wonder how many showed up to do further harm to the victims?

...of Pinewood Avenue out. Only input "1102 Pinewood", and the first house on the even side of the block will show up.

...on a sunny day. It seems like a peaceful neighborhood. Of course, after nightfall when all the predators come out to hunt, it is probably different. You don't know if the two shot were innocent victims, or from rival gangs.

Obama voters.

“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”

Obama have to do with this? This was a totally unnecessary comment.

Obama have to do with this? This was a totally unnecessary comment.

According to statistics...they were Obama Voters...it's called a statement of fact...

"Fully 96 percent of black voters supported Obama and constituted 13 percent of the electorate"

Clearly..if it were up to you...I wouldnt be able to post such a comment....

Thankfully..it is not up to you...

or may not know about me, I am a firm believer of free speech. But I still would like to know what your statement had to do with a young person being shot in the head and the fact that the neighborhood is made up of Obama voters.

You can say whatever you please on SB, but to me, as one person, that statement was pure idiocy.

As far as spouting statistics, in the last election (2004) 100% of all black voters voted for a white man or woman. And..................

Arrin Hawkins was a vice presidential candidate for the Socialist Worker's Party in 2004, she's black. Her running mate was Róger Calero who is not a white male.

Granted they only received 10,800 votes, but it's impossible to determine that no blacks voted for them which would mean? Unless you know that no blacks were included in that 10,800, stating 100% of all blacks voted for a white man or a white woman would not be accurate. Calero and Hawkins were not accepted on Ohio's ballot but James Harris was in their stead, he is black and received 22 votes, if any of those 22 voters were black? It can't even be said that in Ohio 100% of all black voters voted for a white man or a white woman. Though statistically it is possible.

I pay attention to the third party and independent candidates since that's something I used to focus and write about before GCJ. I realize most people aren't aware of how many people run for President beyond the ones the media focuses on, so this isn't meant to be confrontational, but informational.

We don't remember days only moments...

...according to today's Blade, http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20090421/NEWS02/90.... They have a suspect. I have a suspicion that such an individual is not interested in politics since he seems to influence events with bullets rather than ballots. I am sure this supporter of the Second Amendment cherishes his right to keep and bear arms as much as you or I, and the Secret Service treats him with the same concern as they do an armed member of the KKK.

I know about the other people who run for President, just didn't feel like looking up who ran in 2004 so I knew you or another person would correct me. When I have time I will look for a year when only white men were running for president then I will present my statistical data concerning black voters.

but I think I can say with certainty that 100% of the voters who cherish their freedoms, expect less government interference, prefer capitalism over socialism, cherish life as a gift from God instead of some punishment for a night of indiscretion, prefer to accept personal responsibility for their course in life instead of becoming a ward of the state living off of government handouts, know the difference between real tax cuts and those disguise as such by a slick talking salesman and can distinguish between our allies and our enemies
