Absolutely wonderful rendition of "I dreamed a dream" from Les Miserables by an under estimated amatuer....

For comparison from [Les Miserables] 10th anniversary - I Dreamed a Dream

Good on her....

Hmmm..... While Susan's version was sang well for an amateur, it is not comparable to the original. The original just has more feeling and I can actually follow the story be told. Susan's version seemed...what does Simon always say...."karaoke" to me.
Still, she has a remarkable voice. Just goes to show that all Idols do not have to be 20 something and look like a Barbie doll.

Oh I wasnt tryin got compare "quality".....I simply put up the original piece for those who may not be familiar with it.....
Simon and the others ARE familiar with it.....that's why they were stunned.....kereoke or not...it's a difficult piece....
The Britsh press uncovered this Susan cover of "cry me a river" she did for a chairity CD in 1999

I enjoyed "Cry Me a River" more than "I Dreamed a Dream"
