Bell to Discuss Resident Issues in His Former Neighborhood at Meeting Tonight Part of First Day as Full-Time Candidate

Mike Bell will host a town hall meeting tonight, Monday, April 13, 2009 with residents of the Old North End area where he grew up to discuss the issues they feel are affecting their neighborhood. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Stickney Banquet Hall.

Bell’s parents still reside in the home where he was raised. This meeting with be the first of multiple around the city for residents to voice their opinion on neighborhood issues like safety, home values, and the help people feel they need but are not receiving from the city.

Mr. Bell officially resigned as State Fire Marshal on April 10. This week begins his first week as a full-time candidate for Toledo’s top job. What: North Toledo Town Hall Meeting When: Monday, April 13, 2009 Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Yeah for Mike! Sounds like he's finally doing something productive instead of all this soft talk. Although I'm not sure who I'm going to vote for, I applaud what he's doing now. I'm still convinced he is a Carty puppet. He didn't do enough when Carty called him a large monkey and Sobczak, Carty's buddy, is endorsing him. Someone please tell me how to feel differently.

All i know is that he is neither a recycled politition of Toledo, nor is he related to one; so regardless of who endorses him, that gives him extra points in my eyes.

Did anyone here attend this? Just wondering how it went.

I hear, hardly anyone else attended either.
