Joe the Plumber takes on GOP chair

As well he should. Watch out, Marcy! The liberal drive-by media has created a monster for the dems. Thank you!
If Joe the Plumber is attacking the national chairman of his own party, he's a bigger problem for the GOP than he is for the Dems. The Democrats have to be wetting themselves at the idea of Joe the Plumber acting as a Republican party unity destruction crew, especially since he never lacks for a media microphone to catch his gaffes.
You are dreaming if you think this political rookie is a viable candidate to take on Marcy Kaptur, especially if he pisses off the person (Steele) who strongly influences national distribution of party funds to candidates.
I can see Steele now: "OK, Joe, here's your campaign check as the latest GOP sacrificial lamb against Marcy Kaptur. Unfortunately, since you are polling in the low 20s, we can only come up with $5,000 for pizza and doughnuts for the phone bank and the election night staff. Sorry, pal."
But hey: just keep drinking the Limbaugh Kool-Aid. Your posts read as though Limbaugh himself wrote them, except Limbaugh has a better command of the English language.

You're the one who doesn't understand things. A conservative attacking republicans, isn't attacking his/her own party. Your posts read like your teacher wrote them.
I hate to admit it but I am tiring of Joe the Plumber. He is wearing out his welcome and spending any political capital he may have earned from the Obama question. I don't think he is helping his cause by being in the press every couple of weeks...and with nothing worthwhile to say. My suggestion would be to take the year and put together a coherent message then come out against Marcy. If that is what he wants. But for now, break out the butt-crack and get back to work!
is keeping it fresh. In sight in mind.
Marcy is not beatable by Joe the Plumber or anyone.
She is the perfect politician. She knows her constituency and represents its views in DC. When she does disagree with the bulk of her constituency, she expresses herself in such a manner that it's impossible not to respect her. Her missteps are few.
Despite the contributions story that never got legs, she's untouched by scandal and is not likely to become corrupt at this late date.
I don't agree with most of her views. However, having worked in Congress and observed how some of the jackasses on Capitol Hill behave, I find Marcy to be the real deal. I genuinely like her and respect her.
Joe the Plumber. . .I'm just not sure how I feel about him. I admire him for his confrontation with Obama and his willingness to hit the campaign trail on behalf of John McCain. However, I don't think he has the breadth or depth of experience to start challenging the party chairman with any degree of success.
I agree Brian. He still needs to show his worth as a politician which is different from being a pundit which he has been a tongue-in-cheek version of.
Now if he were to run against Stainbrook I'd throw my hat behind him because at least Joe doesn't hide his real opinions.
