I don't know if you have noticed, but I have watched roads really get eaten up this winter by the temperature differences. I have also seen a couple of roads develop frost heaves and I have watched roads visibly degrading over the last couple of weeks. Have you noticed the same thing? Sound off about your neighborhood. Yes, this has been a cold and snowy winter, but one long look at Toledo's roads is enough to convince me that there is some serious budget-cutting happening at the expense of road maintenance. I have seen the cold patch crews exactly once all winter; this was on a stretch of Secor near Laskey on Tuesday.
Now we need Don Welch to come out and try to convince us our taxes do not really support road repair, but just a level of service toward that goal.
