Piss on Dave's and Arnie's. What a total waste of time and energy. Too bad as much thought and effort isn't going into who you're going to replace him with.

Dark, you obviously haven't been paying attention. Time is being spent on who will replace the mayor. And who will replace council people and commissioners. Take Back Toledo is more than just the recall. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence and the ability to read the website knows that already. Since your energy and time isn't being wasted why don't you find something better to do than insult two independent businessmen who are creating jobs in Toledo. Not sure how many people you've hired over the years but I bet it isn't as many as Dave and Arnie have. If you're happy with the state of the city just sit in your stink and let the rest of us try to move the city forward. That might have been a little harsh.

Here's to the crazy ones, the rebels, the troublemakers, the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them.

The food sucks at both places-the proof at Dave's is he isn't open at night because he can't compete with the big boys. Tell me who the people are you intend to replace Carty with-if those names are anything like Wilkowski (the White Jack Ford), Konop (J.R.s personal puppet-finally found), you're an idiot. No one who posts on this blog exactly adores the way this town is headed, but if you keep running the same people and voting for the same people , it's never going to change. WHO are you talking about? I usually avoid the recall threads because I think they're asinine-so sue me. Why don't some of these small businessmen you so adore run for office? Or are you going to suggest more lawyers fresh out of UT? It's a shame the town used to have people like Reddish who not everyone loved or even liked, but in my opinion, the ones then cared about jobs and keeping a sense of purpose. Today, you have to be politically correct first and foremost. You just don't get it-GRIDLOCK GOVERNMENT IS THE BEST GOVERNMENT YOU CAN HAVE in todays times!! I'm saying it once again-be careful what you wish for-because you're going to wind up with someone far worse than a blustering clown that can't get anything accomplished. I would imagine you work for WSPD radio? They have a huge stake in the Carty wars. Sure hope that was harsh enough.

Show me somebody who's going to bring a manufacturing facility to the area that builds solar panels. Or wind power. Or work on alternative fuels. Or perhaps open a chain of garages that redo your present drivetrain of your vehicle for maximum fuel milage. Now there's a concept. Somebody like THAT with vision rather than yet another lawyer (whose primary instinct is to make more and more laws, usually not for the better) The energy crisis is NOT going to go away this time the way it did in the 70s, so that would be a great way to make a killing if done intelligently. Still another bar or restaurant we don't need. Nor do we need more taxes or bullshit laws.

Note: Above previous post should have read "You're going to wind up with someone far worse than a blustering clown who can't get any of his horrible ideas accomplished"
