If what I heard this morning on one of the news channels is correct, they need 20000 signatures to get a recall on the ballot for November next year. Why bother? Hes out in 2010 anyway is he not? Or am I off a year? Dottie

...easier time getting elected. He (I have not heard any "shes" mentioned) will have little time to get blamed for the tidal wave of financial ruin baring down on the city. This might work for the Republican Party if they can manage to get someone in the office like Jim Murphy because of various deals among those in positions to manage such a thing. Of course, how would you accomplish that in a city council whose majority of members hail from the fractured, red-blue "teams" Democratic Party? Someone will have to sell out their party's interests.

Pardon my being naive but, I still dont get it. Is he or is he not done in 2010? If so, by the time this gets to the ballot he will only have a couple months left. And if the people of Toledo want him voted out they will vote him out then. All this tado about a couple of months. If you could get him out sooner then I might understand. Please explain and leave republican and democrat status out of it. Anyone who votes for something just because its their parties preference rather than what they feel is right is doing it for the wrong reason. Thanks, Dottie
