Troy Neff Show: Dear Friends of the Mayor

Here is the e-mail that Troy received from the Mayor relating to saving COSI

Dear Friends of the Mayor,

As we approach the November 4th elections, I want to remind all of you that we have an important task ahead of us that affects every single Toledoan whether they know it or not - saving COSI.
On November 4, voters will have a third - and most likely final - opportunity to reopen COSI, which is unquestionably one of Toledo’s key tourist attractions.

If COSI returns, it will not be the same science and industry. COSI Director Lori Hauser and her team are introducing a completely new COSI to Toledo - one proudly reflecting our status as America’s capital of solar energy production.

Toledo was hailed by CNN as “the Silicon Valley of solar energy” and this will be the foundation on which COSI’s new approach will be built.

Many local companies such as Owens Corning, BP, and solar energy industry leaders Xunlight and First Solar have all pledged to help COSI create new exhibits, reflecting Toledo’s leadership in the alternative energy world.

As reported in The Blade on August 19, 2008, many area business leaders believe “having an educational center like COSI helped them recruit and keep well-qualified applicants in the community.” COSI is preparing the youth of today for the jobs of tomorrow. This is an important fact to consider if we are serious about combating Toledo’s “brain drain” and retaining top-notch talent.

The COSI levy that will be on November’s ballot calls for a 0.17-mill five-year levy that would cost the owner of a $100,000 home approximately $5.21 a year. Consider - that’s less than the cost of a bargain matinee movie. And we can’t afford to let the end credits roll on COSI.

This Democrap jackass, doesn't even have a DOG,that likes him.Any human that does, must be COMPLETEY,counting on this fool for subsistence!!!! COMPLETELY!!!

must have been a short list!

... COSI is a private business and has to succeed or fail on its own merits and own finances. On top of that, the voters said NO twice already. These COSI votes are an affront on many levels.

Let's make a deal, fellow Toledo voters:

KEEP YOUR HANDS OUT OF MY WALLET AND I'LL KEEP MY HANDS OUT OF YOUR OWN WALLETS.

First of all congratulations to Mr. Neff for making the Mayor's list of friends, you've come a long way. Secondly, thank God I'm not on that list.
Here's to the crazy ones, the rebels, the troublemakers, the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them.

F*cking dumbass it's barely worth a response. First maybe try listening to the podcast. Secondly you're not on anyone's list of friends.
