Ohio group among those who file complaint with US Department of Health.

I got a call from Bill Delaney this afternoon. He told me that another official complaint was filed with the Office of Research Integrity, Health and Human Services against Ex-Surgeon General Carmona's 2006 Report. This report is the one that errantly states that one breath of second hand smoke increases a person's blood pressure and starts hardening cardiac arteries.

Though many now believe that the issue is moot, I don't think it is, rather I think pressure to review the evidence is mounting. Upon analysis, every non-biased person would conclude that the evidence does not support any of the antismokers claims. I wish Bill success in the ongoing fight for business rights and individual liberty.

On a related note, here's a link to a site listing the 35,000ish State of Ohio smoking complaints that have been called in since May, 2007. 35,000 complaints! Complaint processing costs alone are well into the millions and as of May of this year, total fines collected were $30,000. What a deal. I wonder is Herr Grossman and his ilk are pleased with their social experiment.

Grossman is ecstatic to have driven several bars out of business and to have put many more in financial danger. I read that he has cut down on his rat abatement personnel in favor of increasing the smoking police. He is not interested in how much his program costs because he is a true believer, a zealot. Grossman is the guy who started the city-wide anti-smoking campaign back in the late '90s.

You're right. Grossman was the one who started all this shit in the late 1990's. He then crafted an illegal county-wide smoking stature in 2001. We got that one rejected in 2002. Then he, JFo & the Blade came out with the idiotic Toledo smoking ban in 2004. We got that one modified to be fair.

I remember when we got that 10 month-old law modified and Grossman was quoted as saying "What they've done is set the health of Toledo back 20 years." Wat a dope.

Actually, there are 4 complaints that have been filed..all by different groups in 4 different states in a coordinated effort. You can read more about it here: http://opponentsofohiobans.com/news.aspx

35,000 complaints....hmmm
Did I remember Sabetta saying there was "wonderful compliance" or some other dainty little dressed up lie?

The SFO lies keep piling up. That is going to be one hell of a rockpile for them to chip away at.

I no sooner ask you what happened to you at other sites than here you are LOL!
