What Happened to Jim Blue of WNWO TV24?

Does anyone know where Jim Blue has gone? He's apparently gone from WNWO TV24's news team. I noticed he wasn't on the news tonight and when I checked their website, he's not even listed anymore.

I googled him and found that he has his own website. He's got his resume posted there.

I liked Jim Blue. I hope he finds a good position somewhere.

In case you're out there- Best Wishes Jim!

Thank you for posting this info. I wondered what happened to him, too. I thought he was the best anchor there. I have to wonder why so many people are leaving. Is it Shenikwa? Management?

By the way, what happened to Jennifer Stacy? I never saw where she went. Anna Kooiman also left. Bill Spencer left . I see that the station didn't renew Jim Blue's contract. Big mistake. Only reason I watched their station was for Jim Blue and Bill Spencer. I've switched to Bill Spencer's station now.

they're getting rid of the high-priced vets in favor of younger, less-expensive, talent.

(Oops, I see bobthedad already pointed this out.)

WTOL needs to clean out theirs. After all, how many people do you really need to read the news? Their early morning news reminds me of 60 Minutes where there are 7 to 8 people all saying, "I'm Joe Schmoe...I'm Dan Rather...I'm Morley Shafer... I'm Chris Peterson hee hee". Ugh! Come on WTOL11, we're just a plain old mid-sized, midwestern town. We don't need an entire Varsity team to read the lousy local news.

The lucious Jennifer Stacy can be found HERE:

She had been the nightly news co-anchor (with Blue) for five years, when the wonderful management at 24 gave her job to Sweet Shenikwa and threw her on early mornings (5 AM) with Bosco). I remember seeing her the first week with bags under her eyes the size of satchels. About a month later, she was gone-and Bosco left at the same time. His wife had gotten a job somewhere else in the state, and he probably figured what future could there be at a station that treated their long-term help in that fashion? 24 put Shenikwa in the position solely based on race-they wanted to be the first toledo station with a nightly black anchor, for all the good it's done them. I believe ratings have dropped even further, and I think the station sucks now, except for the weekend female anchor.

I was looking for some info regarding the WNWO/Buckeye stuff and found Jim Blue's Vlog. The first one mentions his "departure" from WNWO and what he intends for his Vlog to be, check it out here:
