Trinny and Susannah strip off for 'living art'

Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine appear to have new advice on what not to wear - any clothes at all.
# How about that: More weird stories from around the world

The fashion presenters stripped off alongside hundreds of other volunteers to help create a giant "living sculpture" on the side of a hill near Lewes, Sussex.

The models lay on the Sussex Downs in the shape of two human bodies, one male and one female.

The stunt was part of filming for Trinny and Susannah's new ITV series The Great British Body, which will be broadcast in June.

"We never ask people to do things we aren't prepared to do ourselves," Trinny Woodall said ahead of the filming.

"We've been going round the country looking for a person to represent the great British body. And we're going to create a living breathing naked sculpture of that shape on the Sussex downs.

"Our inspiring man and woman are not average in any way in their personal stories. In size they're not average either."

Trinny and Susannah recently hosted Undress the Nation on ITV, but are most famous for their BBC show What Not to Wear, in which they dispensed forthright fashion advice to members of the public.

I've viewed hundreds of Hungarians, Japanese and Congolese lying naked on the hillsides of their native lands for the sake of art, but never have I witnessed anything as breathtaking and inspiring as the sight of hundreds of fish-belly-white Britishers reclining on the green clover growing on one of Her Majesty's mounds. Still one more example of why Britannia still rules. If I'm not mistaken, I believe I saw expatriate Pete with his arms lovingly enveloping a footballer from Liverpool.

Patience is a great virtue.

I've fallen and I can't get up. The imagery was just too much for me -

don - you are one funny man.

If you're here to tell me it's my fault - you're right. I meant to do it. It was alot of fun. That's why I have this happy smile on my face.

i love the creativity you add to your posts. i am a visual person, :)
