Carty and Rodriguez

Finkbeiner said he got a call Dec. 16 from his friend, who said he had someone on the line who wanted to say hello. “There was a little silence and then the person on the phone said, ‘This is Rich Rodriguez,' ” Finkbeiner recalled earlier this week.

Again, without naming names, Finkbeiner said Rodriguez was visiting with mutual friends within a couple of minutes of where Finkbeiner lives. He said he took his copy of Schembechler's book and visited with Rodriguez, giving him the book.

The truth....Finkbeiner called the home where Rodriguez was visiting, asked if he were there. when told no, he pressed the matter and was finally told to hang on. Rodriguez politely took the phone and spoke with Finkbeiner. Finkbeiner than drove to the home uninvited and knocked on the door to deliver the book, bringing with him a friend. This comes from the son of the man Rodriquez was visiting, his financial advisor.

Fred, thank you for telling us this because this sounds like the true story, not that bullshit CF is saying. Most people outside Toledo are amused by CF's unusual antics, but they they don't want to be around him.

Most of us who live in Toledo don't want to be around him either.

you mean to tell me a local media outlet took Carty for his word?

Without checking and verifying?

Lesson learned, Mr Pounds?

The Fink is so blinded by the light of attention that he will do anything to try to hog the attention that anyone else is getting. Watch him closely at his numerous unnecessary press conferences.

I have personally and up close seen this Fink of a human being bully, embellish, plagiarize, tell half-truths, mistruths, and outright lies to get the attention he so perversely desires.

He is a very needy person, not unlike a child that always demands to be the center of attention.
Remember when he refused to undergo a psychological examination prior to 2005 election?
He knows the reasons, and so do we.

Carty needs to focus more on running the city (into the ground) and less on college football.

CF gets fired up about college football because he thinks he's a retired football coach. He thinks he is a motivator. He couldn't motivate me to drink a glass of water with my daily meds. Truth of the matter is, CF was on a coaching staff for one season. He wasn't asked to return the next season.I will admit he is a cheerleader, a mediocre one at best.
