Toledo auto thefts decline

Auto thefts declined nearly 10 percent in Ohio - and more than 12 percent in Cincinnati - from 2005 to 2006, the Ohio Insurance Institute announced Friday.

That news might mean a drop in auto insurance rates for Ohioans.
Other Ohio cities that saw double-digit percentage drops in auto thefts include Mansfield (-63.2), Warren (-24.6), Toledo (-20), Columbus (-18.1) and Parma (-13).
