A little edit issue :-)

I thought all flooding was Cartys and city councils fault?

Then we blame the flooding on global warming?

I wonder if Ben Roethlisberger will offer any type of assistance to his hometown of Findlay.

In the wake of the Michael Vick scandal Roethlisberger could really make a positive statement by making a contribution towards the recovery effort there.

FEMA got to Findlay a lot quicker than New Orleans - here's a Gold Star *rolls eyes*

Next Thursday is the 2 year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Please continue to keep the residents of New Orleans in your thoughts and prayers!

that is the first time in my life time that I saw such atrocities as babies with their mothers sitting on bridges without hope of rescue, people on rooftops and days before help came. People without food and water but were on television.

Well, actually they do get a mention from time to time.

It is how the areas are still struggling to get rebuilt, this many years on.

But no where the attention they did get when the area was devastated.

...I thought it was always Bush's fault...LOL

Good point but we should also remember that cities like Biloxi took a much more direct hit and suffered as much, if not more damage then NOLA did. There are homes there too that haven't been rebuilt.
It's not all about New Orleans.

Spike Lee's 4 Act Documentary really brought it home for me with those images...I cannot imagine having to move my dead mother to some pit...and what about that young man from college who was "officially" told that his mother was not found in her home, come to find out later that the house was UNCHECKED and finds her body under the china cabinet?!

I was really hoping for an Al Gore come back. :)

George Bush doesn't care about Findlay residents.

There's a city full of walls you can post complaints at

Let's include the residents of the affected areas in Mississippi in our thoughts and prayers...mainstream media is not mentioning either states (MS and LA).
