Oregon won't lobby against modified permit

Plans by FDS Coke LLC to modify its 2004 permit from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency that would allow an increase in mercury emissions is getting little opposition from Oregon officials.
City officials, he said, had supported the project, but wanted it to be built "with the most environmentally friendly standards that are available."
