Democratic Congress Approval Rating at 14% - All time low.

The Democratic controlled congress is at an all time low of 14%. Glad they took it back and brought it to a new low.

I know I'm pissed off at the Democrats in Congress...

We voted them in for change, but all they do is act like Republicans.

All they do is act like politicians.
Time for a 3rd party to get in there in numbers.
Not talking about Bloombergish nanny "independents", either.
Bloomberg should just confess he really is a socialist and be done with it.

Until we elect citizens of honor and dedication to the country we will have to settle for representatives whose primary mission is to represent themselves and their own families above the needs of the people.

...R's are mad, still, at their reps because they're not acting like R's - or maybe they are and the base/core wants them to be more in line the the traditional core philosophies...

...D's are mad because they're not seeing the changes that were promised - like SensorG said...and many on the left who are very vocal (like bloggers and some organizations) don't think that they're 'left enough'...

so you've got a lot of people who are unhappy, but for different reasons, and it sounds like the bases of each party actually have something in common for a change...lol

However, this leads me back to a pet peeve when it comes to polls. Polls ask, "are you happy with the direction your city/county/state/nation is headed?" And people respond 'no.' But no one ever asks the follow up question of "why?"

This poll did the same thing...do you approve of the job Congress is doing? But didn't ask WHY NOT? when people answered no.

So...you've got each person interpreting the CAUSE based upon their own individual biases ...

oh well...

Dems are bellying up to the cash buffett, R's are throwing the sheilds up. The main reason I will never go with either party is the extreem nature of both. I'm with each party on some, but not all issues. The Dems got what they asked for...more of the same, and the R's got what they deserved for fumbling so baddly. Neither party has a real answer for all that woes the States, but they sure know how to distract. Politicians seem to focus on elections, not actually getting anything done. Empty promises, crude defenses and sad leadership plauge the Political system. The Point of Democracy is to put the good of the Country first, not self centered gain. In our lifetime...not likely to change much, not for the better anyway.

If a WMD incident happened in the U.S. I think that would be enough to put the Republicans back on top. No reason for it. It is just human nature to

That would account for the approval number, LOL.

I heard GW stole a couple of percentage points for his own approval rating.
