Plot against GIs discussed in Cleveland, U.S. says

Toledo - Two cousins from the Chicago area and an Ohio man accused of plotting attacks against American troops overseas met three years ago to talk about training in explosives, guns and sniper tactics, a Justice Department attorney said Tuesday.

The men gathered at a Muslim convention in Cleveland in July 2004 with a former U.S. military man who worked undercover and helped foil the plot, said Gregg Sofer, a Justice Department attorney.
