Schools teach private ownership is evil

Jesuschrist. Look at this crap. Our country is falling apart intellectually.

A ban was initiated at the Hilltop Children's Center in Seattle. According to an article in the winter 2006-07 issue of "Rethinking Schools" magazine, the teachers at the private school wanted their students to learn that private property ownership is evil.

This is the kind of thing that makes me think a totalitarian state is inevitable.

Standing in a privately owned business preaching the evils of privately owned businesses?

I'd say that was a lesson in irony for the kids :-) Hope they recognize it.

If you're here to tell me it's my fault - you're right. I meant to do it. It was alot of fun. That's why I have this happy smile on my face.

Just another tale in the long saga of the erosion of private property rights in this country. State lawmakers started this mess.

For those who recall, and also for those who never heard, the Seattle Public Schools had some fucking bitch (can you tell I'm angry?) of an administrator in 2006 that dared to put pen to paper to define "cultural racism" for the district, to wit:

GZ does act for change locally. He does think globally - but he's acting locally. Just wanted to clear that up b/c he's very dedicated.

If you're here to tell me it's my fault - you're right. I meant to do it. It was alot of fun. That's why I have this happy smile on my face.

the school teachers are preparing future civilians for the future.

Why not make incremental fixes to a "broken" system instead of forcing, literally, revolutionary changes?

I have an uncle that reminds me of you--always preaching that the revolution is coming--and using that as an excuse to avoid fixing problems today.

Just a thought...
